We’ve recently been down at Patrick’s bar in Parkstone, Bournemouth running a photo shoot for the new table. It’s not going to replace the existing system, but offer an alternative for those with different tastes. The website should be updated soon, but in the mean time here’s a few images to keep you going…
Insert coin arcade video expo… soon
Well it’s just over 2 weeks away now. The first Insert Coin arcade show will be held in Northampton at Northampton Saints on the 18th and 19th July.
It is 2 days of gaming, events, tournaments and prizes. There will be a couple of candy cabs up for grabs, a tech repair talk, PCB and spare parts for sale and much more.
surface tension will have a stand there. Come say hi and have a seat on the couch for a game of Track & Field!
If you pre-order your ticket online, you can gain entry at 10:00 rather than 12:00.

surface tension table gets a new paint job
We’re soon to start offering the new surface tension arcade table in high-gloss finish. Available as standard in black or white… but we can ultimately supply a table any colour/colours you like.
Due to the extra time, care and attention to detail that goes into the painting, lacquering and finishing of each individual table, the cost for the black or white will be £2999 for a retro-fit, and £3499 with a pre-installed shuttle system.
The product will officially be released in Jan 2009 and the website updated. Until then, if you require more information, drop us a message.
New surface tension arcade coat hooks
It’s been a busy year for us with the new surface tension arcade table, so we couldn’t quite fit this one in this year. In early 2009 we’ll be launching our hangUP arcade coat hooks. But until things are ready and the website is updated, here’s a preview…
Available in 3UP and 4UP versions as standard, you can select your own ball-top colours. Else, if you live alone or with the love of your life that puts up with your geeky side, you can have the 1 or 2 player button with blue sticks for him and pink stick for her… just a suggestion.
They come as standard in black Walnut, but if you want something different, it’s not a problem. More joysticks? Different colours? Wood, gloss, metal finish? Just drop us a message.
If you would like to get in contact about the joystick coat hooks, you can do so here.
surface tension retro-fit
For those of you that like to be in control of your own hardware, you can now purchase the surface tension arcade table without a PC, with the new retro-fit option.
It is designed to take a shuttle or equivalent PC, which measures 31cm x 20cm x 18.5cm. With all the cables ready to plug in, you’ll be up and running within 5 minutes!
