surface tension updateThe surface tension website has recently undergone some minor changes bringing in some major additions. First up is the new Arcane arcade table, running along side the existing Double7 system. We have introduced this to give an alternative design option. It can also house a slightly longer control panel which lends itself to the addition of a spinner control for bat-and-ball games plus the likes of Tempest and Warlords. Depending on your preference, you can opt for Japanese or American buttons. The outer frame of the Arcane is crafted from solid timber and connected with sleek Mortise and Tenon joints. Available in Walnut and Oak as standard, we can produce the table from almost any timber to blend into your environment. Using the same discreet control panel design, the Arcane arcade table can be hidden away at the drop of a hat. Let us play...Our systems now ship with over 100 games from Taito, Midway and Atari. Including titles such as Bubble Bobble, Phoenix, Space Invaders, Mortal Kombat, APB, Championship Sprint, Asteroids, Battlezone, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Missile Command and Pong! Plus loads more. The system is fully MAME-compatible too, so you can add your own titles. The buttons and joysticks are all fully programmable too, so you can configure them to your own preference. Easy to use front-end...Our systems now ship with the fully-licensed GameEx front-end installed and configured ready to play all your favourite classics. All accessible from the table's control panel. Double7 arcade tableWe are still producing the popular Double7 arcade table running along side the Arcane. Available as standard in the finest real-wood Walnut and Oak veneers with a lead time of 4-6 weeks. At a slightly longer lead-time, we can manufacture the Double7 with your choice of veneer, as well as the hi-gloss version in your choice of colour or colours. hangUP arcade coat hooksAlso available alongside the existing Walnut version is the new black hangUP. Still available with a choice of ball-tops, so you can mix & match to mark your territory. We no longer produce the 3UP version, so it's 4UP only. Well, they do say 3 is a crowd! The gallery is now populated with more images of both versions with various balltops to give you some ideas.
